This boy is the one who got me back out into the conformation ring after taking an unfortunate, unexpected & unwanted long break from having my own manchester to show. I can't even begin to express how wonderful it was to show this boy in the ring and how wonderful it felt to be back at it. I was so very fortunate to show a couple of Ken & Cloydett Stickney's dogs from time to time but it just was not the same as showing my own Manchester even though I absolutely loved it. When Devon was offered to me by a now former friend from Canada that had him, I jumped at the chance & Ken and Cloydett were more than ecstatic! I could not believe I would have my long awaited Manchester, let alone this one bred by my mentors and long time very close friends, Ken & Cloydett (Bit O Luck). ~ ~ ~ ~ Devon showed like a dream & did extremely well during the years I showed him. I couldn't have been more proud than being the one on the end of that beautiful boy's lead in the conformation ring - he always gave it his all every single time! ~ ~ ~ ~ Devon crossed Rainbow Bridge May 4, 2009 He took a huge piece of my heart with him... April 19, 1998 - May 4, 2009

Devon takes a Group IV his FIRST time out in the States as an American Champion under Judge Wayne Bousek at Hawkeye K.C. show June 25, 2000, Iowa City, Iowa! He has also grabbed Multiple Canadian Best of Breed Wins and Group Placements.
Since his arrival (June 2000), Devon has garnered several wonderful Best of Breed wins. The number of Manchesters entered in shows in the Midwest, will typically average 4 or 5, sometimes higher, depending on if the show is a District Specialty when entries are significantly higher in number. We are quite pleased Devon has done so well considering he's shown on a limited basis in the Conformation ring.
